Post by CEOCambodiaNews » Tue Jan 10, 2017 2:28 pm

Phnom Penh, Cambodia: The body of an unidentified male foreigner who is believed to be of African decent in his 20's was found floating on the riverside in front of the Royal Palace.

Local Khmer media report that his body was spotted several hours before he eventually washed ashore, and authorities would not enter the water to retrieve his corpse.

The cause of death has not been confirmed.

Plenty of possible reasons - fear of drowning or of a decomposed body - it could be messy.

The state of the body aside, who was he, and why did he end up where he did ?
Yet another Tonle Sap mystery, brought to you direct from Phnom Penh.

And RIP whoever he was. Not a good way to go.
