Good business the one along Norodom, always packed with students.
Re: Cafe Amazon
There is a Cafe Amazon in Sorya shopping center now.
When I need advice about life, I just check in here.

Re: Cafe Amazon
The one inside Pencil on Norodom should be open soon. Worse than cockroaches.
Re: Cafe Amazon
I love coffee, but the stuff they serve up at Amazon isn't good at all. It's cheap, but not good. There are much better local places.
It's popular though, mainly among students and young people. There are a bunch around. One on the riverside, another in Pencil, one on Norodom near BKK1, another on Norodom near Psar Chas, one at Sorya, one near Independence Monument, one on Monivong, one in Aeon, on on Kampuchea Krom, etc.!

Re: Cafe Amazon
Café Amazon, hn?
...
Looks like they tore a page out of a gay mortuary catalog, or some kitschy, geriatric tourist-trap in Iowa.
..
10 terrifyingly welcoming kids behind the counter serving up dinky-ass americanos.
..
Then you pop a squat and you realize it actually IS something of a gay cruising ground. Can't look one direction w/o some Khmer guy giving you the eye.
..
second thought, they pry just want my money.
..
Overall:
meh. Starbucks blows it away. Brown comes in a far second. 'Diners' on 172 hit a double every now and again. That one chick at Red Foxy does a good solid bang for the buck.
p.s. Some of these comments above (the sox) sound a little too polished. Too crisp. Too dry. Too 'clever'.
State ya case, but I ain't takin' the bait~ Cue 'stoopid American/franchise yar yar' whatever.

Most of them don't drink coffee anyway. Green tea, strawberry smoothies and the like. Thai influence. Sad to see anything impinge on my beloved coffee.
