Honda Wave vs. Honda Dream....
So which is the better of the 2 and for what reasons?
what are the price differences between the 2? (new/old)
do they both go up to 125cc or does the Dream only go to 110cc?
are there similar bikes which are better?

Out of the two, I would get the wave, less chance of getting stolen and it has a front disk brake.

Re: Honda Wave vs. Honda Dream....
yeah tbh, i find the waves better to look at, ridden a dream before in Laos years ago and been riding around on a Wave here in Chiang Rai,
was riding around on my mates kawasaki ksr for past week in Chiang Mai as well,
i used to ride geared bikes, it only here ive been riding twist and gos, because i thought the newer airblades looked "cool" and were fun to ride,
but dont think i could go back to riding a auto anymore
plus i want to buy a bike and one that is easy to service/repair etc
and tbh the newer waves look pretty decent

Re: Honda Wave vs. Honda Dream....
I bought a brand new Wave 110 this year for around $1280 or so. Most are made in Vietnam and some in Thailand. I don't see any reason for buying a Dream and I honestly think Honda sells them for so much more because they know they can. It's in no way mechanically better than a Wave and in some ways, downright older (front drum brake, as previously mentioned). Expensive ($2000+?) and thieves go for them. I don't see the point.
I've got 2000km on mine with zero issues and my friend has 22000km on his. All he ever did was regular oil changes. Buying new and doing the maintenance properly will save you vs those $300-600 that always seem to have problems.
The extra CCs of the Dream are nice on the highway sometimes (I've ridden one) but it's not like a 110-125cc bike will ever be really highway friendly, so the advantage is cancelled out. Go for the Wave.
Edit: There are some 125cc Waves around, but I think many are grey imports. Some guy sells them by the Haffle shop in TTP, but I rarely see them anywhere else.

Just break BDS' other leg and take his KTM, although it's probably cursed that bike. Anyway, get a used KTM 200/250/390, probably more fun of a ride than most BGs too.Jamie_Lambo wrote:they will say whatever i pay them to say!Barang_doa_slae wrote:But the girls will say Jamie is way handsomer on a 2017 Dream
Stay away from 110cc, you can get 125 waves.

Generally practicality is inversely proportional to fun. Guess that's why so many foreigners get airblades, they're kind of fun yet practical also.Jamie_Lambo wrote:Yeah would only be looking at 125s,Raybull wrote:Just break BDS' other leg and take his KTM, although it's probably cursed that bike.
