Today I bought a dog

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Today I bought a dog

My only mascot,

named LeRoy has been with me for about 16 years. He was accidently left behind by a little girl that stayed in our motel, and although I tried to find the girl and her parents I had no luck . I have always wanted to buy a friend for Leroy to keep him company, and today on riverside I saw a stall selling big yellow fluffy dogs , so I bought one for $12.

There were many families there looking, but it was obvious some don't have money for such things. The look on the face of one little girl there, reminded me of the girl that left LeRoy with me those many years ago,,, so I gave the big yellow fluffy dog to her. The family were so overcome with thanks I forgot to take a photo.
Ah, well, there's always a next time.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Nice gesture Duncan. :hattip:

They weren't looking hungrily at the big fluffy yellow dog were they?

Dog looks like a bear. Chick looks like a dude. These are modern times. Word.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
