Transferring a motorcycle title

Where should the buyer go and what should the buyer bring? Does the seller need to go as well? The buyer and seller are both expats.

Is the motorbike currently "in the name" of the expat owner?

Yes. The card and bike is in his name. And I have a copy of his passport and a rough bill of sale.

Previos owners abcense may cost you another $50. or there about. Went to transfer 1 of my motos to my name> PP plate & I live in SHV. So that cost me more. There is a more or less standardized Bill of Sale that has the details & a place for 4 thumbprints on bottom. Seller, sellers witness, buyer, buyers witness. Can be had at Lucky's or any other moto sales shop in PP.\

Anyone's thumbprints would work. No data base. Just saying not suggesting.

Not knowing your location I can only offer up the SHV office.
Hwy 4 North about 2 or 3 clicks out of town on your right.

The office is in Prek Leap, about 6 or 8k over the "Japanese bridge" on the left.
