Bad karma for pagoda thieves.
But good karma for the police who caught the thieves and gave ALL the stolen money back to the pagoda.
The Venerable Sarun said Soeung Puthy, a 21-year-old student at the pagoda, and Yorng Phally, a 37-year-old cook there, broke into his room during a rainstorm and stole about $700 and 9.5 million riel (about $2,375) that had been collected during the Pchum Ben holiday last month. They were saving the money to finish repairs on the pagoda, the Venerable Sarun said.

Re: Bad karma for pagoda thieves.
Good thing they are Buddhist. Karma will get them in the end!
If they were Christian, God would forgive them and it would be business as usual tomorrow.
