Is Snookie any good in November?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yep, real cheap day trips to the islands at the moment. A couple of new entrants with new fast boats. 25 seaters with new twin Mercury 250 engines and a 50 seater with 3 of them.

So a price war has erupted. I saw speedferry advertising $2.50 each way the other day.

A race to the bottom as they compete on price instead of service. I shall be taking advantage of this for quite a few exploratory day trips. Cheaper than staying overnight on the islands and most of the places do not have A/C.

25 to 35 minutes by fast large speedboats. I paid $12 return the other day. it was a real quick trip. Almost the same price as a tuk tuk from town to Otres 2.

To answer the OP's question; it is always wonderful in paradise. A bit of rain occasionally, but real cool now and mostly sunny days.

the weather turned midlast week as the wind changed direction so mornings are usually now dry but from 3pm onward expect downpours
