Casualties From Explosives Decline in 2016.
Casualties from landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) declined over the first nine month of 2016 compared with the same period last year, according to a report.
The report by the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) said 69 mine/ERW casualties were recorded from January to September this year compared with 85 over the same period last year, including 24 killed, 20 amputations and 25 with injuries not requiring amputation.
“Forty-eight of the casualties were men, 14 were boys, four were women and three were girls,” it said...
