My Blog - Aussie Apsara

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I've updated my blog with some photos of things you see on the road in Cambodia, if anyone is interested. :)

Nice work! I've been developing my own "Spotto" game. But instead of yellow cars, you say "spotto" for each of the following you see:

- a monk on a motodop (two monks on a motodop is a double-spotto)
- someone (let's face it, almost always a guy) peeing in public
- a ladder being carried by someone on a moto

If you had kids you could develop this into the "car cricket" game we had as kids... when you saw each of the things on the list you hit a four or a six, or got run out/caught or rain stopped play etc.

I'm getting used to seeing fridges being transported by moto. The guy who delivered my front load washing machine just had it balanced in its carton on the back of his moto and was just holding it steady with his left hand. Not even fastened with straps or anything. That shit takes talent especially in the traffic here in PP.
