back from my 1 week banning

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I spent a day in Darwin last Monday, rented the car at the airport and went to the aeronautical museum and the East Point war museum. The aircraft museum has the only B52 outside the US displayed. Fuck, they are a huge aircraft. A pretty good museum as is the museum at East Point. It was a beautiful day and the sea is the most incredible turquoise colour just like Broome. Much prettier than Shitsville.

Way back in 1979, I caught a 4 foot hammerhead shark in Darwin harbor, using a hand-line.

True story.

his highly illiterate footprint soon gives him away

NT is quite a place for fishing.
good barra in the runout at the end of the wet.

salt water fishing is problematic as the sharks nearly always eat the good fish before you can land them.
bastard sharks and crocodiles eh

I like Darwin, this was taken from my bedroom window about four years ago when I was returning to Phnom Penh. The Seafood on Cullen does a great seafood buffet, definitely a must when in Darwin.
