Friday, 23 September 2016 : A 30 yo South African man, Jacobus Dawie Botha was stopped on arrival at Phnom Penh airport where a subsequent body scan showed a large number of packages in his stomach which were suspected to contain drugs. He was arriving from Brazil via Dubai and Bangkok.

The suspect confessed that he swallowed around 100 packages containing cocaine. However during the last 2 days the suspect 'released' only 36 packages.

Why arrest these mules? They should let them through, follow them, and later they can arrest the real traffickers.

He has only "released" a few of the sausage-capsules?

Put him on a chicken vindaloo diet for a few days and the problem will solve itself.

WTF gets into the heads of apparently sane people who choose to act as drug mules?

Legalize it and tax the hell out of it, but the corrupt America DEA won't allow that to happen. You legalize it and Uncle Sugar will cut off the aid gravy train.

I'm just reading "Grass" by Phil Sparrowhawk, a good follow up book to Howard Mark's "Mr Nice." Found it at Mick & Craigs in SKV. (they had other copies.)

Is it plausible that PP is a better place to sell coke than filthy-rich Dubai or yuppie-filled Bangkok?

Who was going to snort all this coke?
