Floods hit National Road 58 in Banteay Meanchey
Authorities in Banteay Meanchey province yesterday said that recent rainfall has caused flooding along National Road 58 in Svay Chek district.
The floods have led to a 70-metre stretch of the road in the district’s Svay Chek commune to be off-limits since it is under 0.15 to 0.20 metres of water.
Commune chief Pok Lon yesterday said that authorities are using excavators to deepen the roadside for the water to flow away from the road.
