Police Search For A Man Posting Naked Pictures of a Woman After Failing to Extort Money From Her

Phnom Penh: Military police in Phnom Penh received a complaint from a Cambodian woman saying that a facebook user name Darith Bak Sloy had posted her naked pictures on facebook after demanding her to pay him 200000 riel. Currently police are searching for the man.

Police said the victim is a 24 years old girl living in a rented house located in Prey Tol village, Stung Meanchey commune, Meanchey district, Phnom Penh working at a massage parlor. She filed a complaint on 06 September 2016 with the evidence of her naked pictures that the suspect had posted on facebook aiming to extort money from her for 200000 riel.

The victim said, she was lured into the suspect rented room as he told her to come for a party. However, when she arrived the room, no one was there beside the suspect. He dragged her into his bed room and pushed her down on the bed. She was afraid of the man, so she confronted him until she felt unconscious.

She added, she woke up finding herself naked; however she didn’t know what the suspect had done to her as she was unconscious.

Adding that, on 06 September 2016, the suspect called her demanding her to pay him 200000 riel for not posting her nude pictures on facebook and that when she realized that while she was unconscious the suspect took pictures of her while she was naked. After having received all these embarrassments that’s why her 20 years old husband and she come to local police station to file a complaint against that facebook user. However, because the local police were so busy that’s why she and her husband came to file complaint at the municipal military police instead.

Police said, after having received the complaints from the victim, police have been searching for the man. Adding that, the suspect seemed to know that the girl filed a complaint against him, so he removed all the posted nude pictures from facebook aiming to hide the evident.
