A good deal for young WGJ. He's already renting out the rooms, after all.

LoL, no kidding.

Also, it seems like the actual price of the business is $33,000 as $32,000 of that "price" is a deposit.

I can't say that sounds too bad.

No, he was the guy renting out rooms on air bnb without the owners permission or knowledge. The till thief was Asian.

Oh, and I think it's actually a great deal that's been offered, much better than most of the asking prices for shitty dive and hostess bars.

So will it get a name change to the PSD-Kiwi Guesthouse?

I know Mac. he has been there for a few years. i am sure he would have books.
the margin is what determines the price of a business.
if it is a simple business, like the proverbial "milk run" that an idiot can operate, it is worth between 100 and 125% of the true annual net worth.
everything else you can start subtracting.
so if this biz turns out $100k PA in real net. it could be worth 65k depending on the length of the lease.
so called potential is also worth something. many businesses underperform, and sometimes something simple like really good food downstairs and a bar with cheap drinks can make a difference.
this business would be worth inspection for those who are able and in that market.
i will leave it to our resident number cruncher MR Beaker to provide his usual astute capsule analysis of the viability based on capacity
