An American Woman Got Her Belongings Back and The Thief Arrested, Battambang

Battambang, According to Police website, on 11 August 2016, around 08:30 am in Preak Preahsdach commune, Battambang city, an 64 YO American woman had her bag cut and had her phone, driving license, some other documents and her 30 dollars in cash stolen.

Police said, after having received information from the victim, police have ordered his team to search for the suspect and finally found and arrested a 31 YO Cambodian woman, Hak Pors living in Battambang city. Police have confiscated all the belongings and returned them back to the victim.

Currently, police is preparing documents to send the suspect to the court for further legal action.

Seems like Battambang police are on the ball, not the first time they have returned stolen items. But they need to feed their officers better.
