Who is Daniela Noisternigg? That is the question. I'm kind of convinced it's a real name because nobody would deliberately choose a name like that.

sort like when the dark net/silk roads first set up and people ere buying drugs,BUT there the amount was held in escrow until the bitcons were received, Sellers built up trust with a point system and reviews from customers.General Mackevili wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 12:31 amI understand how it works.ceoceo wrote:I think you got it wrong ... not Daniela Noisternigg buys the money... it's a marketplace like thousands others.
You sell a good, any other buy's it from you. - thats it - no more, no less.
Paypal is only for the buyer to pay the seller, the maximum u can sell is a value of 100 usd.
Maybe I'm too critical, but how will you get the trust of the public?
To be honest, between sending money to another random person first or sending it to a webmaster first, I'd feel safer sending it to a webmaster. You have no control of either party yourself, so if you don't know them or trust them, how can my trust be gained, but them or your platform?
It can be sketchy enough shopping online though Amazon, even with all of their guarantees, but sending money to complete strangers first in hopes that they will send me some back some money too seems higher risk than taking a slapper home from Pontoon and hope I don't wake up drugged with her breaking down my front door to sneak out with all my stuff.
IF this is legit,it will take a LONG time to gain any trust, hell you dont even know who ur buying the money from.
Since its NOT illegal to do, i'd advise the owners that the sellers need paste their snail mail address and have a more involved set up process, to register they asked for NO proof who i was, not even a email verification...I'd be asking for passport shots, email verification etc
i'd feel safer posting on TA i have 700,000 kip for sale
as to time site up, even if he just started in jan ,there should be at least ONE review or something about the site but....

If you live in, say Cambodia, and have Lao Kip, I'd say you're probably better off posting on a forum like this, or facebook group. I am sure you will also meet someone going there that you can exchange with at a rate beneficial to both.Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 12:26 am No idea if this is legit or not, but if you have a currency that is not exchangeable elsewhere, what have you got to lose ? If you have 800,000 Laos kip, to take that example, thats worth zero almost everywhere, but it may be worth $80 to someone who is looking for kip.The exchange rate is about 8,300 kip for US$1, so its worth about $96.50.
That way you get some money for your nonexchangeable kip and the purchaser gets kip at a cheaper rate.
I dunno but it seems good to me as long as you are dealing in "useless" currencies. You can always hang on until you get a good offer, and the limit is $100, so small potatoes.
For a limit of $100 and all of the risk involved I would either try to sell it to someone in person or keep it on the off chance i go back.
Re: What to do with your left-over riel, kyat, kip and other useless currencies
I've never had a problem getting rid of the remainder of my "useless" foreign currency. I think the most I was ever left with was cuc, the cuban tourist money, about $5 usd. Usually whatever I have left at the end of trip is only a couple of dollars worth, and I give it to the airport cleaning staff. If you are left with over a $100 or more of the local currency you are either terrible at planning (how did you get there in the first place) or you are planning on going back imo.

1. I agree. It's just like Craigslist. And I wouldn't send cash in the mail to someone on Craigslist hoping to get money back either.ceoceo wrote: This is like any classified ad exchange - I do not think that eg craigslist sends every article to craigslist first, and then to the user.
At jojmoney, the amounts are too small to try fraud.

Again, it's a great idea, but it will undoubtedly be used for scamming people.

If you are desperate you can post from the airport before you leave, like these people did today from Laos.
A better idea is to go hang out in Arrivals area and look for some westerners.
