Vung Tau

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

He,he.. Yeah I know what you mean. I wasn't too comfortable inside the bunker in flip-flops, cargo shorts and no flashlight. The jungle around the bunker was so lively that I was a little worried there'd be a snake or two in there. But the only living thing I saw was that huge spider.

Still.. It felt good getting out of there :D

That'll be all for now. It's getting late and I'm soon out of beer. Hopefully the little info I have provided will be helpful to someone that has never been but is considering going to Vung Tau.

I have sung Vung Tau 's praises many times, it's a great getaway. Banh khot is the town's signature dish and I'd consider it a wasted trip without indulging in mass quantities of the stuff. Go, eat, enjoy.

I fucking hate that. Sometimes I type long posts, then leave to do something and then come back and finish them. Then when I post it, it does an error and everything is lost. Used to happen a lot on K440 as well as another forum. So aggravating, I think it's because they have an internal timer. I now almost always copy-paste what I type (no computer problems though).

Anyways, excellent report! I'm still planning on doing a big Vietnam trip in Aug-Sept. Vung Tau wasn't on my radar but you've definitely added it on my list of stops!
