Vietnam may waive visas for 6-12 months' stay -- eyeing retiree visa!
Re: Vietnam may waive visas for 6-12 months' stay -- eyeing retiree visa!
I wasn't going to post anything due to the complete lack of visa waiver news after Monday and Tuesday National Assembly discussions this week, as promised in the story immediately above ^^^ . But I decided to note that: Nothing happened.
Only thing reported was the plan to arrange more mutual visa exemptions with a few more nations. Mutual visa swaps is a huge comedown from the earlier, well publicized proposals to lengthen stays without visas and maybe even offer a retirement visa. But who knows!?
