This is the entire story carried by VietnamPlus News:
Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) will resume some of its international flights in July as other countries begin to lift border restrictions.
International flights between Kuala Lumpur and Bangladesh, Nepal, the UK, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, India, China, Singapore and the Philippines will take off in July.
The carrier is scheduled to resume all of its international flights in October.
The resumption of international flights by Malaysia Airlines Bhd will allow families to unite with loved ones after separation due to travel restrictions in many parts of the world, MAB Chief Executive Officer Captain Izham Ismail said.
Passengers are, however, reminded to check entry and exit requirements before their journey with travel restrictions remaining in place in most countries, he added.
The airline has increased the frequency of its domestic flights beginning June./.

The airline informs that passengers are, however, reminded to check entry and exit requirements before their journeys with travel restrictions remaining in place in most countries.
The airline said that the carrier will adjust its network capacity from time to time to ensure passenger demands are met, prior to normalising the schedule in October for both domestic and international destinations.
From July, the airline will resume some international flights to Singapore, Bangkok, Surabaya, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Taipei and Guangzhou among other cities.
The airline has also announced to recommence twice-weekly services between Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka, Kathmandu, London, Osaka, Narita, Icheon, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Denpasar, Phuket and Cambodia from July.

Malaysia Airlines’ Group chief executive officer, Captain Izham Ismail said, “We are pleased to announce the resumption of our services by increasing capacity to domestic and international routes and we look forward to welcoming our passengers back onboard. We shall continue to ensure their safety, health, as well as their comfort by introducing new initiatives aligned with international safety and health protocols, as part of our commitment to offering passengers peace of mind throughout their journey with us.”

(Thai Airlines)Bangkok – London Heathrow service will be reintroduced 1 August with a daily 777-300ER.
Woo Hoo!!
Plus, if Malaysian are opening up in July, that means Air Asia will have lots of lovely punters to serve so they too will come out of slumber.
I see the light at the end of the tunnel. (Or is it a train coming?)

Re: Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
Some airlines are now promising flights from July and August, but there is not much chance that they will be back to neo-normal status until travel restrictions and quarantine measures are lifted.

Re: Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
Yeah, sorry there atst. I made the post out of frustration that OZ/NZ seemingly don't want to open borders to countries until they have totally eradicated the virus...unrealistic in my mind and we'll be waiting a long time for that imo.

Yep we're all getting a bit frustrated another day wasted from our life sitting around waiting. Fukcclutchcargo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 5:46 pmYeah, sorry there atst. It seems many are having troubles with travel
Repatriation flight to India cancelled
The repatriation flight for 140 Indians from Cambodia to New Delhi was cancelled yesterday morning after a fuel leak was discovered in the engine of the aircraft.

Always "hope" but never "expect".
Re: Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
Turkey is an example of country that is doing it right. Saving their tourist season by not requiring a medical certificate from visitors. International flights starting next week. I guess turks don’t need to save much face, good for them.
But my hero is Mexico. While others were and still are peeing in their pants for a flu, this country had no restrictions whatsoever? This fact should get more publicity.

Re: Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
yep
their winners in my book
1st death march 18thAs of June 10, there had been 129,184 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mexico and 15,357 reported deaths
so 15,237 deaths in 11 weeks
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
