correct me if wrong but just because we can purchase a flight, doesnt mean we can get in and get a visa. The current visa situation is they aren't offering business or tourist visas. How would you get in?
Or your thinking by august, those visas will be available?
I have retirement Visa valid till November so ok, but the way things are going it may expire before I get there.

how is this all good?
“When passengers arrive, they will be brought to the quarantine centre within 24 hours to take their samples for testing.

All foreigners are also required to have health certificates issued no longer than 72 hours before flying to confirm that they are free of coronavirus and they need a minimum of $50,000 in health insurance to enter the Kingdom.
and still no tourist visas being issued .

I wonder what visas all these 1,800 had?

All 91 travellers put in quarantine after 12 test positive, illustrating risk of welcoming back tourists

Greece has been forced to confront the risks of restarting international tourism after authorities announced that 12 out of 91 passengers onboard a Qatar Airlines flight to Athens had tested positive for coronavirus.

The civil protection ministry responded by suspending air links to and from the Arab state until 15 June. All 91 travellers on the flight were immediately placed in quarantine.

“We knew there would be such cases. We’ve seen what can happen this summer,” said Prof Nikolaos Sipsas, an expert in infectious diseases. He told ANT1 TV that the incident highlighted the degree to which opening up to tourism was a calculated risk.

“The safest [thing] would be not to open up to tourism but that would mean huge economic destruction,” said Sipsas, who sits on the specialist committee advising the Greek government on management of the pandemic. “The first thing we have to do is divide countries of origin into safe and unsafe [categories]. That creates certain diplomatic pressure, but for us the first priority is public health.”

The passengers who tested positive will have remain isolated in a government-designated hotel for 14 days. At least two were reported to be members of Australia’s large ethnic Greek community, many of whom traditionally return to Greece during the summer months.

How did they know? Are Greece testing arrives? How do discover 12 out of 91 without testing everyone?

Oh Flock! 'can't afford to look any older.
But unfortunately nobody around me appreciates it when i hit the booze, so i had to stop that long ago. I'm anti-social enough just naturally.

I started smoking the odd joint again after a bit of a break.
Simulates my imagination, so that helps pass the time. but i am the kind of imaginer that doesn't just sit on the couch - i want to step out and live those wonderful dreams.
I'm going spare, not being back home exploring the kingdom of wow.

JetStar are showing flights from Singapore to Phnom Penh from July. But that must mean clearing customs and immigration to check into that flight. This adds another risk in that if the JetStar check in staff at the airport don't like your paperwork, you could end up getting stuck in the airport. Remember, the airline is on the hook for all costs of passengers arriving into PP without the proper paperwork. Unless you can get a checked-in all the way through flight, I think relying on staff in another airport is too risky.
