I understand the need to restrict travel. But, I think was is infuriating about Cambodia is, they remove restrictions to travel however make it impossible to do so by not currently processing Visas for foreigners (exception is diplomats and other officials). It is inconsistent and illogical. This Corona Virus situation will be with us for years to come. We need to operate differently. It requires a consistent and logical approach. If the goal is to eliminate Foreigners from entry, then do so. If you will allow some to enter but have them follow special requirements, then do so. This is in between with no clear information on when or if the visa processing will be allowed to resume is insufferable. All I ask is that these governments inform us as to what is going on. Not knowing what is happening and when / why / how ? is the greater harm to me and my family. We are suffering unnecessarily by this dis-coordinated approach.

I think you have been in Cambodia long enough to know, there is no such thing as logical here . even the government departments dont have clear information as to whats going on, as rules are changed on the run.. The one thing I have learn't in Cambodia is that if you have time and patience ,Then you are already a winner.

Cambodian government doesn't seem to be any different to many countries , only letting residents or visa holders back in.
Breakfast with my son yesterday in Australia $43 AUD I didn't go for a second coffee.

I paid for the old cyclo drivers coffee as well and cost me R3000. Happy with that. Two cups would bump the blood pressure too much.

Hong Kong airport is definitely open. There are daily flights from/to Aussie destinations. There are just no flights from HK to PP until August.

Covid-19: Greece quarantines all passengers from Qatar flight
All 91 travellers put in quarantine after 12 test positive, illustrating risk of welcoming back tourists
Helena Smith in Athens
Wed 3 Jun 2020 15.50 BST

Greece has been forced to confront the risks of restarting international tourism after authorities announced that 12 out of 91 passengers onboard a Qatar Airlines flight to Athens had tested positive for coronavirus.

The civil protection ministry responded by suspending air links to and from the Arab state until 15 June. All 91 travellers on the flight were immediately placed in quarantine.

“We knew there would be such cases. We’ve seen what can happen this summer,” said Prof Nikolaos Sipsas, an expert in infectious diseases. He told ANT1 TV that the incident highlighted the degree to which opening up to tourism was a calculated risk.

“The safest [thing] would be not to open up to tourism but that would mean huge economic destruction,” said Sipsas, who sits on the specialist committee advising the Greek government on management of the pandemic. “The first thing we have to do is divide countries of origin into safe and unsafe [categories]. That creates certain diplomatic pressure, but for us the first priority is public health.”

The passengers who tested positive will have remain isolated in a government-designated hotel for 14 days. At least two were reported to be members of Australia’s large ethnic Greek community, many of whom traditionally return to Greece during the summer months.

correct me if wrong but just because we can purchase a flight, doesnt mean we can get in and get a visa. The current visa situation is they aren't offering business or tourist visas. How would you get in?
Or your thinking by august, those visas will be available?
Manhattan keeps on making it, Brooklyn keeps on taking it
