Travel availability from UK to Cambodia

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

Thats excellent news..I can't see Myamar on there yet but if its any consolation British Antarctic Territory is now open, you still need permission and I would suggest a nice warm pair of underpants.

So Emirates are now offering inclusive/free covid19 insurance with their tickets.
I've not read too much about it but could be promising.

I would suggest reading the terms & conditions of Emirates Covid 19 insurance policy very carefully to ensure that you understand what it covers and what it doesn't

I understand some T & C have changed slightly since Emirates first announced it

Remember that Emirates also requires a negative test before you fly, and if staying in Dubai, also require a test upon arrival and another on departure.

Looking at Skyscanner again for the hundredth time and many flights are showing as transit through Bangkok, anyone know if this is an open route as I was under the belief that Thailand didn't allow any international flights for transit purposes

I think phuketrichard posted something the other day about transit being closed until at least 31st October. I might be wrong. Check in the Thailand travel thread DaveG.

^^^^

My flight on 2nd of September has been cancelled again and the airline is not even showing further flights until the 26th of October, by which time ER EOS will have expired.
Not much help I know, nothing appears to be changing, maybe we will have to wait until they make an announcement at the end of the month .......

You might check out the facebook group, Cambodia Visa and Work Permits. There have been a couple of posts in the last week about people who have travelled from LHR to PP visa Changi on Singapore Airlines. That route is open and reasonably priced, around GBP 550 (USD 700) .I will be heading that way as soon as my visa is approved.
