Do you remember that one time when one Reddit thread blew up the tourism industry?

We do.

The question: which countries would you never visit again and why?

The result: history, biology, geography, sociology, cultural prejudice and some hilarious toilet stories combined to make magic.

Things got predictably bizarre quickly.

"Thailand. Been there in 1998, 2002 and 2013. Completely overrun by tourists, getting worse each time i've been there".

Reddit isn't exactly renowned for having well-traveled commenters. Pretty much any thread that becomes popular there regarding Cambodia is inundated with "where you on holiday in Cambodia (hilarious Dead Kennedys reference)", "I was in Cambodia last Monday and it's terrible about how they killed all the people with sunglasses"or "ewwwhghhhh, Cambodia, you're a disgusting pervert."

is "Boring". How can a whole country be "boring" ?

Life is bored.

I've heard backpacker kids say that Cambodia was "boring" ... after about 3 whole days here.

Well, lol, they should've gone for a few drinks with some drunken policemen or something.
