SECOND COVID-19 for new Arrivals

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

***UPDATE ***

No phone call or text. I went to CAB bank near Central Market and got paid out, no problems.

Deductions were as predicted, no suprises. Take your passport and deposit slip, it took 5 minutes.

$2757 after hotel, transport, 1st test and $30 bank fee.

So, I am all clear, free to roam and cashed up. What could possibly go wrong...

Speak to you all in about 3 days...

Go back 3 days after test to receive Certificate apparently. Not required for deposit refund.

sorry if this was covered but i read on KT that after 5 days, you can get your refund. Unsure even if have to take a 2nd test
I understand @Doc67 arrived before that was implemented

so if i am correct, wait 5 days.. then scoop up the money? no 2nd test required?

So, in theory, when you go for a second test, you can just pay for the test, and decline the certificate? I wonder if that would work.

Is the second test still a requirement? Are new arrivals still being given the sheet of paper I got saying report to KSFH or the other clinic after 14 days?

I found it, has anyone tried it yet?

“If they (foreign travellers) tested negative for COVID-19, they will spend only $200 to $300, and the rest of the deposit money will be returned to the depositors within the next five days,” She added.

“Previously, we returned the deposit cash after the 14 days of
the quarantine, but now if they (foreigners) test negative of COVID-19, the banks will return the remaining money to them within the next five days,” Sambath said.

No paperwork requested second test or isolation but I'm sticking to the 14days anyway, it's the requirements for most countries. I thought it strange they just seemed to think everyone knows what to do, I presume they're given up on the isolation to hard to police and most people won't do it.
I'm struggling to keep away from people visiting , I think it a novelty factor for them, plus I've been away 5 months
I thought it a bit odd being able to go to bank after 5 days when you're supposed to be in 14 days isolation
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.
