To recline the seat or not? One of the great debates of flying

i never recline.
The recline angle has not been adjusted to the cramming of more seats into the coach section.
I fly back and forth to the USA 2-3 times a year and it takes me 3 planes to get to my city.
The cunts who recline and act like they are in their living room are just that....cunts..
I keep my seat in the upright position because I am not a cunt who uses the excuse that I am entitled to that space because the seat allows me to recline.
I have found the baby issue to be a PARENT issue far more often than a baby or child issue.
I was on a 15 hour flight a few months ago and the seat in front of me reclined so far i could not put my tray table down and the video screen was inches from my face...toss in the sleeping asshole's hands being flailed over the headrest nearly touching my forehead and it was one miserable flight...
remove the recline.

Sounds like you should not be using airlines with reclining seats

Was a great time flying with my 11 month old and 5 year old from USA to Phnom Penh with layover in Narita. We had a bassinet which was fantastic, only had a couple of breakdowns by the older one and my youngest was surprisingly behaved most of the time.

I, too, was very lucky when flying with my kids. They didn't act up, which made those flights significantly more bearable. Another poster made a salient point about the problems with kids is more usually about the problem with the parenting. Having flown significantly over the last 10-12 years, I've seen more problems caused by adults than I have by kids. The most interesting was a kid continually jumping about, kicking the seat in front etc, generally being an annoying little shit that wasn't controlled/managed by the parent(s). When the guy in front finally lost it, after about 4 hours of misbehaviour (on a 12 hour flight), the father was more interested in having a fight with the guy, rather than deal with his annoying little shit of a kid.

As for the reclining, I choose to recline, however upright for key moments, especially at meal times.
