I love Kampot! You should visit Bokor hill station... also cool if you ever watch the movie city of ghosts, the final showdown scene is filmed there. There's also a nice Cham fishing market on the road that runs near the river on the main side of town past the strip of businesses. I think it starts really early in the morning.
I think kampot would not have a long list of things to do. Kampot is a very sleepy place, but it is also so close to nature that it's easy to just take a small day trip.

Oh I forgot that there is Bokor. Yes, I do like it. You remind me of many places I visited there. There are many beautiful moutains in Kampot. One moutain I that I never forget is Phnom Chhngouk ( bend down). It was very dark and adventurous cave. I had to bend down in order to go out the cave.MekongMouse wrote:I love Kampot! Really? I promise myself I will never enter to the cave again. The entry way is too small because of Stalactites and stalagmite. Sometimes you have to roll on the ground. Hehe I can't imagine if we meet a sneak in the cave, can't even walk.MekongMouse wrote:I'll have to visit that one! And very aptly titled too.

Oh haha maybe not, I'm not a big fan of tight places. Being buried alive is up there on my worst ways to die list.

Samouens place across the river is good. He has a big garden that supplies his little resto.
Last time I was there it was $7/night!
