I'm a bit disappointed. I thought they would start with weekends and then put on more trains in the week. The Monday train is new since I last looked, but it is still only a weekend train service.
If it was marketed right, the train could be a tourist draw in the high season. A bit like the Nairobi-Mombasa train.

Oh well, Cambodia time. I found the train station this year. Maybe next year I'll catch the train. :tumbleweed:

Last time OI went to kampot and had to ask the lady conductor to turn aircon up. So cold everyone was putting jackets on. Took over one hour to get her to change it.
Its ok if you are not in a hurry as it is a 7 hour trip but you do see places that you miss by bus or car.
