Not heard anything but I hope it comes to fruition because I gave up going home via Vietnam because of the visa costs. I've been there 10 times in total but now go via Bangkok or KL. Also like to spend a bit of time checking out more of the country too so a visa waver would be a step in the right direction.

i understand its for 3 months max... is it possible to renew in a motoshop/authroties or do you have to visa run ?

how long is an extension, if possible ?

Don't feel like paying 60 bucks to pop over there for a short holiday.

They are building a ferry terminal in Kampot for Phu Quoc.
Word is the VOA will be on beforemthe terminal is ready.
Will be a good thing for both countries.

That's great news for Kampot!

But what the article is talking about are actual visa waivers - NO visas - even better !
