Nepal. A Blog.

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

Never heard of anyone being busted for smoking hash here, ever, so wouldn't know the consequences. I'd imagine a very small contribution to the local police officer's flute players club would eradicate any concerns. Only this morning a guy sat on the roof top with me discreetly smoking some hash. One doesn't stroll down Thamel casually partaking of course, but it's still common in Pokhara and other places to sit in s small out-of -the-way restaurant and "relax" to some Jimmy.

Never been any trouble smoking discretely or can always sit down with a sadhu and share a chillum, but dont try and take it out
Had a few friends/acquaintances did 1-2 year stays in the central jail
Charles Sobhraj is still locked up there..
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Saw perhaps the most attractive woman I've ever seen in Nepal this afternoon. Do click on her image for a better look.

Too late, I have already fallen in love with this one from your other post.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I enjoyed a good chillum with the Sadhu in India in verios places, also with the Agori in Varanasi. But I would advise anyone too retain from shearing, possibly take your own and try to stick to it. I found it to be an unfortunate situation that I ended up with multiple drug resistance TB resulting in five hard years of illness and recovery, reminiscing that very enjoyable smoke with the holy men of India.
How about the cream of Ganja "Nepalese temple ball" is it still around? Very nice thread Kung-fu Hillbilly.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

I used to be somewhat partial to a chillum but it's been a few years now. I wouldn't know about "Nepalese temple balls" not being much of a smoker these days - the occasional hash spliff bought from my favorite barman while in good company about the sum of it.

Wow and I was worried about dengue and consuming some bad eye candy.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
