Motorbike from Cambodia into VietNam.

Post by Pattaya Visitor »

Is it possible these days?

One bike would be a 250cc with Thai plates and Thai entry paperwork from Poipet.

The other bike/s would be <150cc on Cambodia plates.

All bikes owned by the riders and paperwork correct.

Any up to date info' appreciated.

I am searching GTRiders but no luck yet.

You shouldn't have a problem getting the bike on Cambodian plates into Cambodia at least not at the Prek Chak/Xa Xia crossing. There are dozens of Cambodian reg bikes and cars in Ha Tien.I can't see you having problems if you take the bike further in to Vietnam either-once it's here-it's here. The Thai reg one is a bit more problematic, but I met a guy here who eventually persuaded them to let him bring his Malaysian reg bike in,so not impossible. This border is a fairly laid back one
