No more freeloading....
Re: No more freeloading....
I would imagine all travel agencies that deal with visas can sort this out. =)PSD-Kiwi wrote:So you entered on a Tourist Visa back in 2020 and were still able to convert to an E-type Visa EOS now? Based on those prices I'm guessing was via a Visa agency. Care to share details because there are a lot of you in the same boat.
The reason there was no overstay fee (from the 22th of April) was because nobody (including the travel agencies) was notified about the change.

That makes sense. While I'm not surprised that they've ended the "freeloading" now that the travel restrictions have been lifted pretty much everywhere, they really should have given some advance warning.Equinix wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 10:41 amI would imagine all travel agencies that deal with visas can sort this out. =)PSD-Kiwi wrote:So you entered on a Tourist Visa back in 2020 and were still able to convert to an E-type Visa EOS now? Tourist visa $30 for 2 years stay. $150 conversion = $180
E- visa $290 same has what all pay. $290 x2 = $580
Always "hope" but never "expect".
