My Mondolkiri trip summary

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

You really should go there during June or July. From what i heard when i visited it, June and July are the best months to visit Mondolkiri.

Good think about June and July is that it will be green almost everywhere. Here are some recent pictures of Mondolkiri i found on facebook.

I went years ago, it was cold and rainy. So many trees cleared it looked like NZ without the sheep, all pretty shitty and sad really.

Just make sure to fill up before the giant whatever statue near the Viet border because there's a big, hilly gap with no fuel stops after that.

I guess in Mondolkiri is always cold in year round. I remembered when i was there it was during dry season, but it was still cold for me.
