I am in love with Battambang city and province

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

You should have been to the outskirts of the city. It is really beautiful and moreover there are so many places to go which are really close to the city such as Bamboo Train riding. I rode the bambook train. It was so shaky, but it was so much fun though. If considered it as a real train riding, it would be my first time to ride the train. Anyway you still can go there any time you want as it is in our kingdom. :)
I wish too, but I will need a friend who knows there very well to guide me. I really like to explore what I never know :)
You don't need to have someone who know btb pretty well. You will be fine even though you go there alone. It is better to read something about it beforehand. So you will be able to plan your trip. Good luck.

i also prefer travelling alone. You will make friends everywhere as long as you are not mute, but it is still not a big deal...gesture still can help. As you mentioned travelling alone is really awesome as you will have more of your own space, freedom and do whatever you want.

I know you are Khmer 100% , but travel alone is not kind or Khmer style. You enjoy the place, but I enjoy with my friends. Of course we can make friends with new people, but not every people want to be our friends. :-)

haha Who said travelling alone is not khmer style. Everyone can do it regardless where they are from. I think most of Cambodians tends to prefer doing the same thing. They always reject new thing.:) If they don't want to make friend with us why bother to keep talking to them. There are people everywhere.

I think I'd like to meet Samouth and little salary, they sound like cool people.

I must say, there are very few countries in the world with such friendly people, maybe only Malawi or Botswana in Africa come close.

The tragedy of the country is that bad government and a few bad habits stifle the full potential here, but that happens in a lot of countries.
Jesus loves you...Mexico is great, right? ;)
