It's picture time. Sorry about the quality but you can download and enlarge anything you are particularly interested in.

The Covid-19 Medical Health Certificate. Plain, simple and to the point. I was a bit concerned that it was too plain but it said what they wanted to see.

Image

Invoice with Credit Card receipt. This is not strictly necessary but it goes to authenticity. If they are concerned about the certificate being real, and invoice with a card machine receipt might be helpful. They never really looked at it, but it might become useful if you get a problem with your certificate.

This is the Lab report. It states the date and time of receipt of the swab test which was on the 1st July. The report date was on the 2nd. It also stated that Covid-19 was "not detected", which, technically speaking, is all they can say. I kept this at the very back of my bundle in case they wanted to see it, which they didn't. It is almost impossible to get a PCR test, wait for the results, then get your doctor to write the Health Certificate then catch a flight and arrive within 72 hour of the actual swab test. I suppose the lab report will only be useful if there is an authenticity issue with the Health certificate.

This is a form you get when you get released from the Hotel. It's basically an agreement to self isolate at home.

This is the Receipt. It is a 3 part form. The top is white and there is a blue and pink sheet. I originally got a pink one but by my time of release the blue sheet was returned. I have no idea why but I did scrutinise it to make sure it was my receipt. Wouldn't that of been fun if I got the wrong one.

Masks can be lowered for eating, a bit tricky otherwise. I got told by one of the cabin crew to put mine up as I had it lowered to below my nose as they get hot. They were not as strict on the London to Seoul leg as it was a night flight and the cabin crew hid away in the back for most of the flight. However, on the Seoul to PP leg they were always around and will be on your case.

I would say this... if you are going on a 10+ hour flight with a mask, get some practice in early. It is very uncomfortable and after so long it can irritate the back of your ears. Buy cheap and lightweight ones, don't get all fancy or use those 3M tight fitting ones, you have to have it on for a VERY LONG TIME, so comfort is #1,2 and 3 on the list. Spend a day at home watching the TV with one on, see how irritating it gets after a while.
doc what's chance guy gets a window seat, crunches up, and places blanket over his head (post sleep aide) lowers mask. Pops head up every so often (proof of life), eats ect. No way staff peaking under blanket to check on you. Hopefully empty seat next to you For readers thinking this crazy try wearing a mask long time. It's horrible... Also, you could be assumed paranoid, playing on iPad, ect disguised well...Man that food looks bad

On the long flight it was only half full and after about 3 hours when they had served food and the plane was all trying to sleep, lights out etc, I found an empty row of 3 at the very rear of the aircraft. I layed down on those seats and took my mask right down under my chin so I could breathe more easily, nobody challenged me, the crew don't go walking around during the night unless there's turbulence and they do a seat belt check.

The way I saw it, I knew I was Covid-19 free as I had just been tested, I bet very few others on that plane could say the same and it was a risk I was prepared to take for a bit of comfort. This is why I say, get your mask situation sorted before your day of travel and spend some time with it on.

If you put a blanket over your head, that is the same as a mask, so they wont bother to check if you have your mask on, or are still alive even! Apparently, if you die on a plane they prefer that you do it quietly and only get discovered when it's time to land!

Doc,
you probably got some rest and settled in. In your report you said that you would post some info on food in quarantine, namely if it is possible to get beverages and food delivered from outside. The food on the pics posted so far would not match prison food in the west. Thus, the info might be life saving.

It's a strange but good feeling to be back in Cambodia after spending most days for the last 5 months searching internet and CEO for news on how to get back and now find myself with not much to do.
I found out about flights on Tuesday morning after reading CEO mad dash in pouring rain to train 5 hour trip back to Sydney , sorted out covid test , last minute shopping Thursday get results ok good to go book tickets then shit I might not be allowed into Queensland to get my flight out from Brisbane due to new boarder restrictions, fill out entry permit for QLD ,all done, last BBQ at mates place say goodbyes, Saturday pack head to airport.
Cambodias working it's magic already ,heat rash on arms no more solid craps, on second half of isolation it's a struggle, see photo
Thanks again everyone you kept me going while in Australia

Congrats. We have another member just arrived who will be pleased to know that the second test is avoidable.

Yes rereading the official guide I think the second test is referring to those who need to quarantine after someone on the plane test positive
