Actually, one thing of note.Apollo91881 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 11:12 amThanks!PSD-Kiwi wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 11:08 am Self-isolation at the address you supplied upon arrival. Not permitted to leave, local officials can conduct random checks.
Test on 13th day at the Khmer-Soviet Hospital or Chak Angre Medical centre if in PP, if outside of PP at your provincial hospital.
Take negative test result to bank when applying for the refund.
That’s helpful
Two other Americans on my plane didn’t have a hotel address to give the per se. they didn’t make hotel reservations until we found out we were cleared and no asked for information at the time release. I’m not sure random checks are really on the menu.
Re: Foreigner Quarantine on Arrival Price List
Yea, judging by reports the only ones who actually seem to be getting random checks by authorities are those living rurally. Reports from those in PP and SR that they have not received any visits.

Re: Foreigner Quarantine on Arrival Price List
So the two Americans referenced booked a hotel of their choice ?
Confused . Some people saying you don’t get a choice.
How do you specify the address at immigration if you don’t know it?

Re: Foreigner Quarantine on Arrival Price List
You don't have the option of choosing or booking the hotel you will be kept at while waiting for test results or the quarantine hotel if quarantined.
Re-read the post...it was in reference to hotel they planned to stay after released.
Surprised that Immigration and MoH officials didn't demand an address at the time of arrival from them though, guess they'll be required to supply that prior to being released to self-isolation after test results are received.

I am surprised that print out of doctors letters was enough. From what has been told, the original letter and signature and rubber stamps are a critical element of the paperwork. This is what the Embassy guy in London told me and what I have been trying to arrange.
You mentioned that your paperwork was checked again in Seoul. Where you with the same airline all the way from DTW to PNH of did you use Korean just for the last leg? Korean Air have got the reputation of being the strict one on the paperwork front.

Sorry, maybe I’m being thick but how do you specify the address at immigration if you don't know it?
And what was the hotel like for the one night stay / quarantine ?

Re: Foreigner Quarantine on Arrival Price List
Having a 14 day booking at a proper hotel (the pay-on-arrival type) should form part of your bundle of papers. It's the easiest element of the entry requirements to arrange and one less thing to draw attention to yourself if you haven't got it. Whether you change your mind and go elsewhere is a matter for you.
Also, a contact phone number seems to be asked for. All those planning to travel soon, and have a Cambodian sim card, should fire them up and re-charge them with $10 before they travel. You may well need your phone to power up and have internet access immediately on arrival in PP. One less thing to freak out about...

yes. i was thinking about that. I have my cambodian phone but no money on it. The cheap one that takes the smart scratch offs.. I am gonna have a friend buy 2 dollar scratch off and send me the info. then can put it on in NYC...hope that works but regardless i do have a working phone when i land.Doc67 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 4:14 pmHaving a 14 day booking at a proper hotel (the pay-on-arrival type) should form part of your bundle of papers. You won't be able to top up from NYC with no valid network. I'm sure there's a way of doing it online. Most phone numbers get reassigned if they aren't used for a few months though.BklynBoy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 9:43 pmyes. i was thinking about that. I have my cambodian phone but no money on it.
