it is very high quality and those kids whack out a giant line being accustomed to heavily stepped on coke and it is over in minutes.
anyone who has loved in KOW for any length of time can verify this,

if a backpacker, or anybody else dies from a huge snort of so called "china white" thinking it is coke, how do they know that was the reason. How many backpackers come to KOW for the coke? I will say it again its an urban myth, fake news.
One small snort of ANY heroin will not kill you, it will make you nod out and fall asleep but unless it is tainted with something else will probably not kill you.

"Kids" who are accustomed to coke must know what coke looks like. Heroin is a dull white, coke has a different look, a sheen, a sparkle
I reckon you are buying into the urban myth. who decides somebody bought heroin thinking it was coke?, the coroner? his mate?
Fake news and an easy way to explain drug deaths.

The Cambodian black market trade of illicit drugs includes cannabis, methamphetamine, and high grade heroin. It is reported that foreigners requesting cocaine are sometimes provided with heroin instead
https://wikivisually.com/wiki/Drugs_in_Cambodia
A few weeks ago an American working for one of the Phnom Penh English-language newspapers died of what is widely believed to have been a drug overdose. Another three of the newspaper’s employees also overdosed, but luckily survived. Each year at least a few foreigners are found dead in Phnom Penh guesthouses of an accidental overdose. The main reason? Buying cocaine that is actually heroin.
Cocaine in Cambodia is expensive — more expensive than heroin. Because heroin is produced in Southeast Asia, it’s cheap and far more pure than what’s available in the West. Often dealers in Phnom Penh will agree to sell cocaine but will actually deliver heroin — whether it’s due to stupidity or a gruesome cost-saving method is unknown. In 2009 this tragic trend made the headlines when David Hunt and Mark Ganley, two Britons on holiday in Cambodia, died after taking heroin that they thought was cocaine. Although this case is well known, many more die each year in cases that do not make the headlines.

Both expats and tourists meet untimely ends quite regularly in Cambodia, often under mysterious circumstances that involve drugs. Heroin is much cheaper in Cambodia than cocaine, so it is often used to cut cocaine or sold in its stead. So when abusers rack up a big line of what they think is cocaine, they may quickly find themselves unconscious. The unreliability of Cambodian information applies to drugs as much as to everything else. A tuk tuk driver will tell you he knows exactly where you are going and end up lost for an hour, so it’s unrealistic to expect this same tuk tuk driver to know the difference between various Class A substances.
I have been living in country for 3 years straight, and visiting 100 days a year for 10 years, this is so well known, that it really does not deserve conversation.

maybe you would like to cite some sources backing your opinion.
You live in UK right? not in Cambodia.
Your opinion is wrong I am bound to say.

No sources except common sense. Why would somebody give you heroin instead of coke? why not just give you chalk? You are not going to come back for more are you?

no, i have provided citations, you have provided speculation without foundation, so this is my last response on the subject.
perhaps other members can enlighten you further on this, as all long term residents know my assertions to be factual.

if i was a scammer selling drugs in cambodia to stupid "kids" i wouldn,t bother giving them heroin instead of coke, i have to buy that heroin, why should i pay for heroin, chalk is cheaper. It does not make sense, yes i am sure that is happened now and then.
The reports that people are dying all the time because they thought they had coke are false, an urban myth.

My opinion is common sense, why would a scammer use Heroin, which he has to buy, rather than just give you chalk? which is free? What is his point? he will not get a repeat customer, and if you insist on a little test will soon know it is not coke.
WHY?
