Easy trips from Cambodia to...

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

Pattaya.
I get there in about 6:30hrs from SHV but count 16hrs hours if Dagenham is driving (from any starting point in KH that is).
Book a condo apartment in Jomtien possibly a private swimming pool penthouse one and indulge in shopping, good food both in restaurants or cooking at home, chocolates, cinemas, massages, golf, building and decoration shopping...

After a week to 10 days go back to Cambodia freshened and with a strong anti-thai feeling that will last at least a couple of months :assasin:

Easy trip from Siem Reap is to fly to Pakse. Do the loop on the Bolaven plateau, see Wat Phuu head on down to 4,000 islands. The way back to Cambodia is not too bad if you break the trip in Kratie. Also Wat Phuu may not impress you much at all if you have been to Angkor. Although if you love temples you will enjoy it and it has a spectacular view.

Yeah, but aren't the shittiest hostels and guesthouses like 50$ per night or something? Is market price starting to level out there or what? Last I heard, accommodation will burn a hole in your wallet in Burma.

I would love to pop over to Vietnam frequently, but the whole $30+ visa everytime for a few days has prevented me from doing so, although I do plan a long vacation worthy of the price of their visa in the near future.

Right now, with everything going on in Thailand, I am put off by curfews and shit.
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...

There are no curfews in Thailand these days.
