So, today travelled to China, gonna be a long one, 2 weeks. The trip starts in Foshan. Arrived hotel 9.30pm, tired and hungry

I found hotels in Guangdong province were exceptional value. This room must have been what, 200-260 rmb ?

Its been 3 days, was down with a bad flu and soar throat so each evening got back to hotel early and sleep didn't find time to post here Now in a train from Tai'an city to Wuhan (5hrs 47mins ride). So where were we? Yes Halloween 1st Nov,
Went to a nice restaurant serving Teochew porridge
On the way to the restaurant
Was around 10pm young people dressed up to enter a club for Halloween party

Here comes their specialty, porridge, ordered a pork rib porridge
So smooth and delicious
On the way back passed by a bar strip
Went to a nice restaurant serving Teochew porridge

After meeting with local people was brought to a local Hakka restaurant for lunch
Hakka cuisine always start with tofu, soft, tender Hakka tofu the best

More meetings in the afternoon from Foshan to Shunde. Ended up at a Shunde restaurant. Shunde is considered the heart of Cantonese cuisine. Many of cantonese chefs in top restaurants around the world are from Shunde.

Woke up 5am yesterday for 1hr ride to the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport en route Shandong Jinan. Used the Shenzhen Airlines Lounge for breakfast

Arrived in Jinan (capital city of Shandong province) and took a 1hr 30mins drive to Taishan. Taishan mountain is historically important in China history as it is a mountain the early emperors visited even the first emperor who united China Qin Shi Huang Ti.
Anyway I am here for for holiday so went to visit a factory right away arriving at factory about 1pm so went straight for lunch in the factory canteen. Now this don't look like any canteen at all rather its like a restaurant
The meal, local Shandong cuisine, really impressed
