China flights
Obviously quite a serious incident since there was an emergency landing and evacuation by slides.
I hate to cast the first stone , but at 1am, is it possible that the passenger was inebriated ?
Thanks to dickheads like this we will soon all be breathalysed before boarding.

A Chinese flight was grounded and passengers evacuated after a man tried to light a fire on the plane before being restrained by passengers and crew.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China said that the an emergency landing was carried out and the man was taken into custody. Two people were injured in the incident.
The pilot issued a distress call and the plane was guided by aviation authorities to Guangzhou airport.
Emergency slides were used to evacuate the 95 passengers and nine crew from the plane.
The attempted arson occurred at around 1:00am on Sunday on board a Shenzhen Airlines flight from Taizhou to Guangzhou near Hong Kong.
Shenzhen Airlines confirmed the incident in a statement but did not offer additional details.
The man, who has not been named, boarded the plane at Taizhou airport, which screens all travellers from banned substances such as lighters and flammable liquids.
It has not been reported how the fire was started. Photos posted on local news sites showed a partially charred passenger seat and a burnt emergency exit door.
There have been a series of dangerous incidents on board Chinese flights recently, including passengers opening emergency exits and fights occurring between crews and passengers.
An investigation is underway to uncover the man’s motives

China has introduced a no-fly blacklist for "uncivilized" passengers... in February, and ONLY 3 people banned so far...
http://www.nationmultimedia.com/nationa ... 83822.htmlBeijing - Three people in China have been fined and placed on a no-fly list since the China Air Transport Association introduced a national system to blacklist unruly air passengers in February.
The trio, the first to be punished under the system, were banned from major airlines for "uncivilised behaviour", including hitting a checkpoint security officer with a can of milk, attacking airline personnel over a flight delay and refusing to switch off a tablet PC during a landing, the association said.
They will be unable to book flights with five of China’s biggest airlines - including Air China, China Southern and China Eastern, which together operate about 80 per cent of routes in and out of China - for up to two years...
The Chinese authorities last year declared 11 types of actions strictly prohibited on flights and at terminals, including creating disturbances at check-in counters, damaging airport security facilities, and intimidating or assaulting crew members.
Such behaviour has frequently made headlines in the country with the world’s worst track record for flight delays.
In January last year, 25 passengers were held by the police after they fought with crew members over a bad weather delay and opened the emergency exits.
In December 2014, a Chinese woman on an AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Nanjing threw a cup of noodles full of boiling water at a Thai flight attendant and punched the cabin windows, threatening to jump out, in a dispute that began over seat arrangements.
In 2013, an official who missed two flights lost his temper at the boarding counter and went on a rampage, violently destroying two computers and attempting to smash a window with a signboard. China Daily/Asia News Network.
