Cambodian Immigration/Visa Information

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

I predict VOA's will be available again within a month or 2, if not sooner.

Once VOA's and land borders reopen it will be possible to convert from a T-type to an E-type Visa by sending your passport in a "visa run".
If only they enabled the E-Visa site to permit E type visas to other countries and not just Taiwan, they could then do away with the VOA counters at the airport forever. They were always crowded which is exactly what they are trying to avoid.

They used to issue E-Type visas on arrival to any old tosspot anyway, they were not exactly fussy. So why not issue them via the website? This would get a lot more long-term people back, spending money everyday and filling up those sad empty guesthouses hanging on by their fingernails.

Have they restarted the route? It ran very briefly, code sharing with JetStar, but then it went bad, flights being cancelled (the JetStar) connection from Singapore (as JetStar started playing with prices, I think)

I came with Emirates in august, and was happy with their covid-insurance, was completely accepted in Thailand, but when i wanted to extend my stay to january instead flighing back in september, the cost was +400 euro, the same price as a new one-way-ticket. Its at least a little bit a scam that they say it very flexible. I just skipped it and now in PP, will just buy a new one-way ticket. And for january, Emirates offers flights PP-BKK-DXB !!

I heard that if you got Visa problem in Cambodia you can go to the Le Casablanca Hotel at Khemarak Phoumin Ave 130, My friend got his problem solved there and says their service is great.
