I am in pp for 3 weeks with e visa. I try to extend it to 1 year. I am told by an agency in pp ;

To get one year extension, I need employment letter.
To get work permit , I need Residency Permit with Local Sangkat Office.
To get residency permit , I must have 3 months or longer rental contract.

Do you know what is residency permit ? How to get it ?
And is it really very difficult and really I must prepare so many paperworks ?

Local visa agencies or fixers cannot do these things for me And get me wp and one year extension if I just provide my passport ?
I stay at Hotel and I don’t have rental contact or employment letter.

I just want one year extension to stay here hassle free and get wp.

Please give me advices how to get one year visa and wp ? Do you know an agency to do all for me ?

Why don't you apply for a 6 months EG extension. That gives you 6 months to figure it all out and to see if it's really worth the hassle and money.

Because I’m told that 6 month visa (if you want it without employment letter ) for only first timer visitors, it is for job seekers who first time come to Cambodia . I used Cambodia for visa run from Thailand. Therefore 6 months visa is not possible for me.

On the Thai Elite website, I still find the 5-year Elite Easy Access for THB 500000.

Has this recently changed?

Sorry. You are right. I’m confused with 20 years elite visa which is 1m baht. 5 years visa is 500k, you are right. You

totally untrue,

exit. apply for an ordinary visa at border or airport,( $35) and than once back in Cambodia get a 6 month EG extension.
Easy

The travel agent I usually use informs me that when I hand in my passport for a visa renewal, it will take one month before I get it back. Anyone renewed their visa recently ? How long did it take ?
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Received my passport back last week.
Taking 26 days due to the new year holidays.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
