I prefer spending 90 mins waiting on the plane rather than having to transit through BKK.

That certainly helps if you can amble around the cabin. I guess it is usually not full either, as most pax dis/embark at SGN?

Yea, majority pax disembark at SGN, bugger all get on for the SGN-PNH leg usually. My last flight into PNH, which was the first time since they resumed the route since COVID, there were only about 10 of us on the SGN-PNH leg, the PNH-SGN leg was probably about 20-25 pax, will see what it's like next week when I fly home again.
