That's bad. Sure there will be some irate Australians. I hope the US doesn't follow. Currently getting the necessary documents for travel to Cambodia.

Well, the Brits are all but locked out. And the Aussies are locked in. I don’t know which one I’d prefer to be

No surprise, some of us still can’t even travel interstate yet!

I'm curious about this. Don't they have a Supreme Court in Oz where you can get oppressive nonsense like that nullified? I understand having an inbound travel ban due to the virus, but outbound? Why? That reeks of oppressive Communist regimes; the GDR in particular comes to mind.

You are in Thailand (I think) or Cambodia and you are concerned about "oppressive nonsense"? Interesting concept. Hopefully one day you are right.Alex wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 12:29 am I'm curious about this. Don't they have a Supreme Court in Oz where you can get oppressive nonsense like that nullified? Canada: travel ban to/from USA extended 30 days; inter-provincial travel to some provinces banned; international travel (arrivals and departures) permitted, including several daily flights to/from China. Can't follow the government logic here. It would appear that the Trudeau creature is stoned out of his mind on the medical marijuana or has motives that he won't disclose.
Re: Australian International Travel Ban Extended.
They don't want people traveling then coming back and having to foot the bill for quarantine and possibly bringing in the virus, if you live overseas yes you can travel to return home.
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

Who determines if you ''live '' overseas. Who is it that says , no you cannot fly / get on a plane to leave the country. ?
If in my case , a OZ citizen but live in Cambodia 11 months a year for the last 16 + years , who / what determines where I live ?
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
