Australia needs to step up quality to attract Chinese tourists.
Holiday in Australia? Chinese tourists would rather go to Russia
October 28 2016
Australia needs to step up the quality of its service and accommodation to cash in on a Chinese tourism bonanza, as latest figures show it stuck well down global rankings of preferred destinations for visitors from China.
Australia was 17th among worldwide destinations for Chinese tourists on package holidays in the second quarter, lagging behind Russia in 13th place, Vietnam in seventh and leader Thailand, according to the China National Tourism Administration.
[However] China is Australia's most valuable tourist market, with visitors spending more than $7.7 billion per annum, according to Tourism Australia, a figure it estimates could climb to $13 billion by 2020.
To give an idea of the potential of China's outbound travel market [...] only 5 per cent of China's more than 1 billion people hold a passport.

The quality of the average [ gambling ,spitting , loudmouth ] Chinese tourist should improve before Australia needs to step up it's quality of the game.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Aussies don't give many fucks. Most inbound Chinese have very little contact with anyone other than their minders.

Would be happy to halve those numbers year on year, they've got to be some of the worst travellers.

They can fuck off somewhere else, we dont want them. Where I live domestic tourists increased by 550,000 last year. Fuck the Chinese.

Yeah I don't think anyone but the government would want more Chinese tourists.
