Re: Do you support Ukraine or Russia?
I think BOTH Putin and Biden could benefit from distraction of Issues at home.
What, Me worry?
Re: Do you support Ukraine or Russia?
When Putin speaks you have a clear understanding of what he said, ( believe it or not) but when western leader's speak you have know idea what they just said or what thier talking about and you know thier lying

I don't "support" either nation, but I do understand how this conflict has come about

KYIV/OUTSIDE MARIUPOL, Ukraine, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Russian forces invaded Ukraine on Thursday, assaulting by land, sea and air in the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since World War Two.
Missiles rained down on Ukrainian cities. Ukraine reported columns of troops pouring across its borders from Russia and Belarus, and landing on the coast from the Black and Azov seas.
(Don't Miss: Ukraine's turbulent history since independence in 1991)
Explosions were heard before dawn and throughout the morning in the capital Kyiv, a city of 3 million people. Gunfire rattled, sirens blared, and the highway out of the city choked with traffic as residents fled.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Re: Do you support Ukraine or Russia?
I didn't realise the jury was still out.
I thought Russia were to cop sanctions, if they acted.
Even for individuals opinions; going to war?! Haven't we evolved yet? Where's the world's policemen? Imagine Finland and Switzerland going to war, then New Zealand rows over to see fair play. Before you know it, Nederlands will have to calm down Spain and Portugal, with Austria and Mauritius on alert.
Most of Africa is like, "Dis is good shit mon. Funny as hell. They're doingit for us to dem selves! This is good shit mon. Irie"
It seems pretty clear to me. The world's leaders seemed to be against an attack, and whatever Russia thinks Ukraine has to not do but can't tell Ukraine not to do it, if they want to, you can't blow up your next door neighbours yard, at any level of society, particularly at the highest (on the power scale). Unless he's bigger than you.
If the powers that be (the good guys, from the countries that get voted the best, the happiest, safest, most livable etc., every year) say don't do it, or there will be consequences, then you can appeal the decision. Still a no, and they go ahead with destroying peoples' lives whose crime is to be have been born there, then for fuck sake slap the sanctions down hard, now. Then.
"Call a press conference and arrange for all the G7 leaders to meet with Stoltenberg, because that's a lot less time efficient than a video conference call, and we are all in agreeance that this is bad, so it is time for action, not a gathering, but we won't nip in the bud early, we will let the wound fester for a bit while we all think about the nothing that there is to think about and pussy-foot around the issue until after dinner and a good night's sleep, because we don't have a Winston Churchill amongst us.
Land, air and sea! That is not a threat. What do the leaders do? They come out and publicly say this is the worst shit since WW11. "Act against humanity blah blah and 2 other cliches that I had written down here somew..."
Don't fucking tell us! Tell him!
"Too right I will, we will. I just have to cover my ass first..."

Re: Do you support Ukraine or Russia?
There is a very long and complicated history between the two countries that I don't think many in the West have a clue about and are nowhere near qualified to pass judgement on the situation. That includes myself.
However, my two pence worth is that Ukraine is a sovereign, independent state and no circumstances justify what Russia is doing, history or no history. Every country has the right to determine its own path and that should always be done via a ballot box, not down the barrel of a tank.
When China is your only friend and even they aren't openly supporting you on the world stage, that should be a sign to any government to question what it's doing.

Actually:
[NATO] was created to “keep the Soviet Union out, the Americans in, and the Germans down.”
