But surprisingly small in terms of volume. 13 tons is just 0.67 cubic metres, so, give or take, about the size of a big washing machine.
Apparently, the entire amount of gold in known storage, i.e Governemnts holding and other large declared holding plus all the production data on the assumption that it is still in safe hands, is about 182,000 tonnes.
In volume terms it's about a 20 metre cube.
