There will be no Brexit. MPs will renege on democracy and vote for a second referendum. After a violent Project Fear campaign, members of the public will narrowly vote to remain. (a narrower margin than the vote to leave).

If you want to comment on the UK leaving the EU, you should first read up on the history of how the UK joined the EC, which party supported staying in the EC (later EU), which party leader supported staying but overruled his own cabinet who wanted to leave, which party gave the UK a referendum on staying in the EC (not the EU), which PMs signed the various treaties taking us even further down the road to a political EU, which party leaders were in favour of a referendum because they wanted out of the EC and the EU, which PM signed a treaty taking us deep into the EU and giving up rights and vetos even although despite the fact Parliament had agreed to sign up to the treaty the PM gave away more than was voted on.

Bottom line is that until UKIP pressed the matter on behalf of the UK voter (in the EU Parliament) there was no party in power (UK Parliament) who wanted us to come out so the public never had a say in the matter.

Parliament ducked the issue and gave the decision to the public in a referendum but Cameron never made the referendum binding hence the throwing it back to Parliament for a final decision. This is not a Party issue and unfortunately a lot of people seem to think it is. It is all about MPs looking after their own interests ahead of the voting public.

There was not a referendum on trade, not a referendum on services, not a referendum on hard or soft Brexits. not a referendum on a single market or freedom of movement, just a simple stay or leave.

If anyone complains that the details and issues that are now being discussed were never made public, then blame the Remain campaign. It was their duty to carry out a due diligence and work out the pitfalls (if any).

Seeing all of these posts that miss the main issue and would rather believe gossip and hearsay makes me think that the right to vote should be only given to those who can display an understanding of politics (all parties), have a good grasp of economics and be open to sensible debate rather than the screaming and shouting that takes place on the various TV programs.
