What's happening in your life?

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Still trying to secure a job, looking at other ways to earn money online / freelance, wondering what direction to take my life.
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

Be careful what you wish for. Your first visit to the department of immigration to extend your visa (or an agent) might change your feelings.

But keep us posted on visa ventures. Interesting to see how digital nomads (I happened to be one too) sail in the KoW.
I'm not moving to Cambodia. I'm moving back to live in Luang Prabang (Laos), where I lived/worked around 2012/13. At that time, the internet speeds were shite. On a visit 2 weeks ago I was getting 40 up and down from my mobile phone...

She has baby on brain. She’s also a born worrier. She’s not 20 anymore and is firmly convinced that she is too old to conceive. She wants a baby yesterday. She’s also afraid she can’t take care of a baby at the same time.

Fluffy goodness rolled into cute happiness. Just want to smother her with love constantly.

So what's with the idea of sending you photos of positive pregnancy tests with no context and then playing like you are an idiot and saying it was her friend's? Sorry - but that sounds like manipulative behavior. You better tell her to can it with that shit and stop playing games, otherwise you are on the road to rack and ruin.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Man, this is one of the most saccharine posts I think I've ever read.

I'm going to print it out, crumple it up and use it to sweeten my morning cuppa java.

When I read nkotb saying "smother" for some reason, this comes to mind:

Two weeks without the cigarettes and feeling strong.

Made a phone call the other night to patch up an old friendship - we hadn't talked in ten years! Best mates for decades(I'm God father to his first born) until we fell out over a ridiculously trivial incident. We both agreed we've acted like a couple of juveniles about it all and will be catching up for a beer in a couple of weeks. Happy days.

I start a week of jury duty tomorrow, and what with a 45 minute commute to get to the court house, the days will be long if selected, I won't be on CEO much. I'm considering letting it be known in no uncertain terms from day one I've issues with authority which would mean I harbor immediate bias toward defendants and hopefully get excluded. But then again, with a few weeks to kill before the Nepal trip it might be a time filler, especially if drawn into an interesting case.

Over a month now without cigarettes

I hate to tell you this but I have gone without ciggies
for 72 years so you have a bit of catching up to do.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
