What's happening in your life?

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Waiting for visa. Maybe 10 months more until issued. Missus showed me a positive pregnancy test.

Discovered some Khmer clothes are excellent at bleeding colors over everything in the wash. Threw out all the old barang clothes and replaced them. Got color catching sheets for the next round.

After many years of use, tossed out all the old work clothes of the former life and bought all new ones for the new life.

Lost over 20% of the retirement on the Wall Street casino. Gave up and now calling in professionals to manage the future.

Bought a portable air quality monitor for the next visit to the Kingdom of Wonder to see if Cambodia really does make me sick.

Boring, simple, mundane. That’s me.

Smoking is just about the only vice I managed to avoid.

Sitting in Munich airport on lay over back to Asia, drinking duty free scotch.

Still stuck in the mountains...
The morning run has gone to a whole new level, I'd imagine.
No kidding..... In most countries, a track up a steep hill would meander up. Not here, it is straight up. Hate getting overtaken by a 65-year old H'Mong lady carrying 50 kilos of wood and wearing 2-Dollar plastic wellies.

I thought about giving up smoking but realized I have to give up beer and coffee to make it work (the nicotine bone is directly connected to the alcohol and caffeine bones). I could give up beer... but not coffee.

Still a smoker.
You could be next.

I'm into the third day giving up the cigarettes - missing the morning coffee/cigarette combination already. Returning to Nepal from mid September for a few months.

How 'bout you, got anything going on?
This is day six for me. Last smoke was on 30 June. Doing surprisingly well I must say.

:beer3:
Keep it up lads. I quit nicotine almost exactly 2 years ago. I smoked 2 packs a day on a normal day. Stay strong!

Not really. I didn't plan on quitting it just sort of happened. One morning I didn't feel like having a smoke and the feeling never really returned. I don't think it affected my temper very much even in the early days of not smoking. Or maybe I just didn't think about it. Idk
