When Hong Kong got given back a few years ago, the rich Chinese immigrated in big numbers to Vancouver, Canada. There is one section of Vancouver (Richmond) where it seems like everything is in Chinese. Let me see. The rich take the airplane to Australia, and the poor pack in leaky boats, and the Islamofascists are immigrating to Europe/England illegally and out populating the local population. Our bought off Congressman won't pass a worker visa law like Singapore has because then it would cost companies like ConAgra Billions in wages and benefits. You institute a two year worker visa only obtainable at the US embassy in their home country. You jail and prosecute any company and its executives that hire illegals. You round up and throw out of the country all illegals without work permits.

The container port: Great does this mean double the trucks on highway #4 with drunk/stoned drivers, since the new railroad isn't used? More ships to Snooky in the future is a fore gone conclusion, but what about all the pollution these third world registered ship will put in the water around Snookyville. And the chance one of them will run aground and spill lots of fuel oil. These aren't the best maintained ships in the world and run by crews that except for their officers didn't know what a ship was a couple years ago. Flag-of-Convenience ships don't have a very good track record.
